WebSep 14, 2024 · Some of Orbx's regional packages (such as NA Northern Rockies) plant "elevation adjustment" files in the Scenery/World folder to suit their airports. If you turn off the regional package to budget memory/cache use,, those files are still processed which messes up those default airports badly. WebJun 30, 2024 · This is because some of the default FSX/P3D elevations are wrong, but the add-on mesh is accurate. Orbx's Airport Elevation Correction (AEC) tool will fix many of them and you can manually fix them too. In my opinion, a good add-on mesh makes the sim look better and is worth the inconvenience of needing to correct a few airports.

Either that, or something specifically related to P3Dv5 itself, that Flightbeam needs to address.
